After more than 2 years, and at least 2,500 hours of labor, my graphic novel, Witchfire is finally finished. I’m sort of thunderstruck at how strange it feels to have reached the end of a marathon project that filled my few free hours during the day…

It’s liberating, I suppose, but now I have to take up the (far more daunting) task of figuring out what path to publication I want to pursue. Self-publish? Online, or in print? Through a literary agent/editor/publishing house, or through an indie-comic publisher? If I’ve learned anything from the past few years of writer’s conferences, workshops, and query letters, it’s that the real work has only just begun. Still, I’m taking a moment to pause and celebrate the successful completion of a book begun in 2011.

To my friends, family and various supporters of the project, I’ve got a tumblr set up here:

And a big thanks to everyone who provided such invaluable guidance, encouragement and instruction in the process of creating this book. I’m truly grateful.
